E&B Girftware Agrees To $550,000 Civil Penalty For Defective Product
According to news sources , the company E&B Giftware has reached a settlement agreement with The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in which the former has agreed to pay a civil penalty totaling $550,000 for failing to report a defective fitness ball product. According to recent research conducted by Consumer Reports, about forty percent of drivers are said to have opted to delaying repairs and car maintenance decisions due to financial constraints, exposing themselves to potentially increased safety risks. Approximately 6,100 pairs of women’s dress shoes are being recalled because the heels may lean, resulting in a fall hazard. So far, one customer sustained a minor leg injury after a fall while wearing the shoe. The leather dress shoes have a three-inch heel, open toes, and a leather bow, with “Naturalizer” printed inside. Teen Loses Control After Attempting To Pass Semi-Truck
According to several local news sources , an unfortunate accident sent two teens from Franklin County to the Hospital last Saturday. Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle In Arden, CHP Says She Was Intoxicated
According to multiple news sources , a 25-year-old woman from Sacramento was involved in a fatal accident last night. The California Highway Patrol states that a 60-year-old driver was driving her Chevy Equinox northbound on Fulton Avenue some time after 9 o’clock at night when the 25-year-old hurled herself in front of the vehicle. The authorities say that she was wearing dark clothes and even though the car was going at about 35 mph, the driver was unable to react in time to avoid colliding against the pedestrian. Women’s Dress Shoes Recalled Due to Fall Hazard
In a press release , Naturalizer, in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced the voluntary safety recall of their “Dare” women’s dress shoes because of a potential fall hazard they pose to consumers. This recall affects roughly 6,100 pairs of shoes in the United States and 700 pairs in Canada.
